3. Gray iron castings should be inspected once a week according to national standards, and the inspection cycle can be 6-12 months depending on the specific situation.


What are the cleaning methods for gray iron casting?


1. First of all, the cleaning personnel should clean the castings of each furnace in line with the principle of first urging and then slowing.


2. Secondly, when cleaning the casting, check whether there are serious defects on the surface of the casting. If there are serious defects, but if you cannot judge whether the casting is scrapped after cleaning, you should report it to it in time.


3. In addition, it should not be damaged when cleaning the casting, the edges and corners of the casting are broken, and the thin-walled casting cannot be hammered with a sledgehammer.
